Job summary

Michelin India Private Limited in Pune is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native applications using Java Spring Boot, NodeJS, ReactJS and AngularJS in an Agile team.

You will work across backend and frontend, build APIs and microservices, leverage AWS, Docker, and CI/CD, and contribute to architecture, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions.

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on technologist with experience in evaluating complex environments and technology stacks, and building, maintaining, and supporting efficient digital solutions. As a Full Stack Developer, the ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Spring Java Framework, NodeJS, ReactJS/AngularJS , and experience developing scalable enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Experience with MongoDB, AWS Cloud Services, Docker, AWS CDK, and modern frontend development frameworks is highly desirable. The candidate should be comfortable working on both backend and frontend technologies and contributing to architecture, development, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in the development of software platforms, web applications, and mobile-enabled solutions. Design and develop end-to-end enterprise applications using Java Spring Framework, NodeJS, ReactJS, and AngularJS. Build and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using ReactJS or AngularJS. Work across the full technology stack, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Develop new features in support of rapidly evolving business and project requirements. Design and implement integrations between internal and external systems. Build cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. Create and manage containerized applications using Docker. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Monitor application performance, availability, and scalability while proactively identifying risks. Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, dealers, and customers as part of an Agile and autonomous delivery team. Support CI/CD, deployment automation, and operational excellence initiatives.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 to 8 years of software development experience. Strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on JAVA sprint or NodeJS development experience using JavaScript/TypeScript. Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with ReactJS or AngularJS. Experience working with REST APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with MongoDB and/or DynamoDB databases. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with Docker and containerised application deployment. Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience with AWS CDK is preferred.
