Job summary

BMW TechWorks India Private Limited is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end. You will work across the stack—from responsive front-ends to robust backend services and cloud infrastructure—while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities include developing with Angular, Node.js, and Java/Spring Boot, deploying on AWS, and ensuring reliability with monitoring and logging tools.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on full stack development experience.
• Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture).
• Backend with Node.js and Java/Spring Boot.
• AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, SQS, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack apps using Angular, Node.js, and Java/Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging (Kibana/ELK, CloudWatch, Grafana).
• Manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, health checks).
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design to production support.
• Write clean, well-tested code following best practices.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot issues across the stack using centralized logs for root cause analysis.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications end-to-end. You will work across the stack — from responsive front-ends to robust backend services and cloud infrastructure — while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Angular, Node.js, and Java/Spring Boot
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on AWS cloud infrastructure
• Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging using tools such as Kibana/ELK, CloudWatch, and Grafana to ensure system reliability.
• Manage and troubleshoot containerized workloads on Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, health checks)
• Take end-to-end ownership of features — from requirement analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the stack — leveraging centralized logs and dashboards for root cause analysis
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices .

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on full stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture)
• Solid backend experience with Node.js and Java/Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, SQS, CloudWatch)
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with Kubernetes — deploying, managing, and monitoring containerized applications
• Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools such as Kibana/ELK Stack, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization (Docker)
• Excellent communication skills — able to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively
• Proven ability to work independently and own deliverables end-to- end
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and collaborative team practices

Nice to Have

• Experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies or serving in a Scrum Master role (CSM/PSM certification is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Step Functions)
• Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven patterns
