Job summary

Cyient Bengaluru is seeking an experienced avionics software engineer to design, develop, and verify safety-critical Flight Management System software.

You will work in a DevOps environment, drive DO-178B/C compliance, and mentor peers while collaborating with systems, certification, and cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have 8+ years in avionics, strong C/C++, embedded RT software, and a passion for quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in aerospace, electronics, CS, or related engineering.
• 8+ years of avionics software development experience.
• Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software verification and validation.
• Experience in DevOps with CI/CD practices.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting, and embedded real-time software.
• Excellent analytical and collaborative communication skills.
