Job summary

Cyient in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced avionics software engineer to design, develop, integrate, and verify safety-critical Flight Management System software. You will work in a DevOps environment, contribute to CI/CD, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring DO-178B/C compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in avionics software, strong C/C++ skills, embedded RT software experience, and the ability to mentor peers in a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, electronics, CS or related engineering field.
• 8+ years of avionics software development experience.
• Mandatory experience in Flight Management System (FMS) software development, UI skills recommended.
• Strong knowledge of DO-178B/C and software design, development, integration, and verification.
• Experience in a DevOps environment with CI/CD practices.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, scripting languages, and embedded real-time software development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
