Senior Software Engineer - Data Management - Capital One Software

As a Senior Software Engineer - Data Management, you will:

1. Help build innovative products and solutions for problems in the Data Management domain
2. Maintain knowledge on industry innovations, trends and practices to curate a continual stream of incubated projects and create rapid product prototypes

Basic Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. At least 5 years of professional software development experience (internship experience does not apply)
3. At least 2 years of experience in building software solutions to problems in one of the Data Management areas listed below:
1. Data Catalog / Metadata Store
2. Access Control / Policy Enforcement
3. Data Governance
4. Data Lineage
5. Data Monitoring and Alerting
6. Data Scanning and Protection
4. At least 2 years of experience in building software using at least 1 of the following: Golang, Java, Python, Rust, C++
5. At least 2 years of experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
2. At least 7 years of professional software development experience (internship experience does not apply)
3. Software development experience in a commercial Data Management product that is being built from the ground up
4. Experience in supporting a commercial Data Management product in cloud with Enterprise clients
