Capital One National Association in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack to design, architect and deliver distributed microservices-based, cloud-native, scalable SaaS solutions for real-world risk management products.

You will work across the stack with Java, Scala, Go, React, TypeScript and Python, plus AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with architects and product managers to drive reliable, fast and secure customer experiences.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 5 years of software engineering experience in Java, Scala, Golang, React, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• At least 2 years with one cloud platform: AWS, GCP or Azure.
• At least 1 year with REST, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Jenkins.
• At least 1 year with containerization technologies.

Principal Associate - Software Engineering

We are seeking Full Stack Software Engineers who are passionate about marrying data with emerging technologies. As a Capital One Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to be on the forefront of driving a major transformation within Capital One.

What You’ll Do:

• Be part of a team to design, architect, and then deliver distributed microservices based robust, cloud native, resilient, and highly scalable fullstack solutions for a SaaS application
• Display a strong engineering and technology background with the ability to learn quickly and go deep into our product and engineering solutions
• Utilize programming languages like, Java, Scala, Go, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML/CSS,, SQL, and Python, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS tools and services
• Promote a culture of engineering excellence and being well-managed, using opportunities to reuse and innersource solutions where possible.
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience,and scalability of your solutions
• Collaborate with architects and product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply) in one or more of the following: Java, Scala, Golang, React, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• At least 2 years of experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure
• At least 1 year of experience with REST, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Jenkins
• At least 1 year of experience with containerization technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 6+ years of experience specifically in one or more: Java, Scala, Golang, React, Node, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or other cloud services
• 2+ years of experience with containerization technologies
• 2+ years of experience in front-end development
• 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks
• 1+ years of experience in Big Data, Data Security, Governance and Controls
• 1+ years of experience in Agile practices
