Job summary

Staples India Business Innovation Hub Private Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead technical efforts in the Global Capability Center, supporting cyber fraud prevention and analytics initiatives.

The role requires strong full-stack expertise (Django, Python, Svelte) and experience building scalable APIs and data pipelines. You will mentor junior developers, guide architectural decisions, and collaborate with U.S.-based teams to accelerate delivery.

Staples is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to serve as a technical lead within the Global Capability Center (GCC) and support the Cyber Fraud Prevention / Cyber Analytics organization. This role will provide day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship for junior developers, including oversight and coaching of existing GCC development resources. The position will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across fraud analytics, cargo loss, claims management, and other cyber analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack engineer with expertise in modern web application development, API design, backend architecture, and data engineering. This individual will collaborate closely with U.S.-based engineers, analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions.
