Job summary

Mobility Global is building a new strategic web platform for Automotive Insights, using Gen AI as a core capability. You will design, implement and own microservices, work on scalable cloud services, and collaborate with product owners to translate requirements into robust APIs.

A strong background in Core Java, AWS, and containerization is essential. We seek 5–9 years of experience, with exposure to frontend tech like JavaScript/React a plus, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• 5–9 years of experience in application development using Core Java.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Data Structures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Exposure to Kubernetes for container orchestration and service deployment.
• Exposure to frontend technologies - JavaScript/React a plus.
• Experience with Gen AI tools and AI-assisted testing or code assistants.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Team

We are putting together a new team that would be responsible for developing and supporting a new strategic web platform for Mobility Automotive Insights. It is an exciting opportunity for the team to build a futuristic platform for our clients with Gen AI being a center piece of the capability.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities and Impact

As a core engineer on this team, you will be hands‑on in building the new web platform from the ground up — writing production code, designing scalable components, and integrating various datasets as the platform grows.

• Design, implement and own micro services on cloud and emerging technologies
• Work as a hands‑on developer to build scalable, reliable services and APIs
• Work closely with product owners and technology leaders to understand and clarify requirements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices

Required Qualifications

What We are Looking for:

• Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science.
• 5 to 9 years of experience in application development using Core Java
• Good knowledge of Core Java, Multithreading, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Collections and Data Structures

• Exposure to Gen AI tools (e.g., AI-assisted test generation, code assistants)

This is a hybrid role with in-office expectations determined by location and subject to change based on evolving business needs.
