We use a variety of tools, but the main ones are C#, APL and an Oracle database. You will mainly be working with backend and APIs. The present and near future main topics are good maintainability, high system performance, continuous integration and delivery, and reshaping our product for the cloud. In addition to implementing customer features, it is essential for us to continuously improve on all levels: company, division, product area, team, and individual. Your daily work life will thus also include topics such as “how can we reduce our build time”, “how can we rearchitect this component to perform significantly faster”, and “how can we work together in a more fun and effective way”. We encourage your personal development, and you will be able to spend 20% of your time on experimenting with new technologies and implementing your ideas. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an agile team in Portfolio Analytics Product Area. We use a multitude of tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, C#, Dyalog APL, Azure DevOps within the areas of development and software configuration management.

  • Be able to learn additional technologies (like APL)
  • Building high performance, scalable applications
  • Continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD)
  • Experience with Cloud technologies - Azure Service Bus, streaming APIs - would be advantage
  • Practical experience within financial instruments and financial investment systems is of course an advantage, but not a prerequisite for the job. It is more important that you take an interest in learning this field.

  • Trying new approaches to both new and old challenges
  • Working with others to leverage the strengths of everyone in the team
  • Learning new skills and improving upon existing ones
  • Continually looking for ways to improve what we do and how we do it
