Job summary

A leading financial technology firm in Hyderabad is seeking a Software Engineer to join their agile team. The role involves developing core functionality for their investment management system, SimCorp Dimension. Ideal candidates should have advanced C# skills, a strong understanding of functional programming, and the ability to develop automated tests. An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science is required. Qualifications

Why This Role Is Important to Us

As our new Software Engineer, you will join SimCorp’s Product Division where you will become part of a cross‑functional and cross‑located agile team. You are responsible for delivering functionality within a specific module of our product – SimCorp Dimension. It is an industry‑proof investment management system, heavily based on financial modelling with multidimensional arrays, used by hundreds of corporate clients all over the world. You will apply your talents to all stages of the development lifecycle, including creation and review of user stories, development, design, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Developing core functionality to support the business modules
• Maintaining the existing code base
• Being part of reviewing product code and formulating test scenarios
• Continuously learning and developing yourself, the team, and our product
• Working with product management to refine new features

What We Value

• Advanced C# skills, good insight to the .NET framework and object‑oriented software design and programming
• Understanding of functional programming languages (OCaml, APL, Standard ML, F#, Scala, Haskell)
• Experience in designing and developing Web APIs
