Job summary

First Object in India is hiring a Senior Software Engineer Backend Focused (Full Stack) to develop scalable Python backend services, REST APIs, and microservices for our AI Platform. You will work across PostgreSQL databases, Redis/Celery messaging, containerized apps with Docker, and deployments in Kubernetes environments, while collaborating with Angular/TypeScript UI work and Azure DevOps CI/CD.

Hybrid work mode with three days on-site in Bangalore and Noida; 6+ years of experience required

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Backend / Full Stack Software Development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Experience with FastAPI or equivalent Python REST framework.
• Strong experience in REST APIs and Microservices.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Redis and Celery or equivalent message queue technologies.
• Working knowledge of Docker.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps / CI-CD.
• Working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of Low-Level Design, API design and data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and implement asynchronous processing using Redis/Celery, RabbitMQ, SQS or equivalent.
• Design, develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases, including schemas, queries, indexes and migrations.
• Build and containerize applications using Docker.
• Deploy, configure and troubleshoot services in Kubernetes / AKS environments.
• Design REST APIs, OpenAPI specifications, API versioning and microservice communication.
• Contribute to Angular/TypeScript UI fixes and feature enhancements.
• Participate in Low-Level Design (LLD), data modelling, component design and service architecture.
• Work with Azure DevOps CI/CD, Git and Agile methodologies.

The candidate should have strong backend expertise with Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis/Celery, Docker and Kubernetes, along with working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript..
