Job summary

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with deep backend engineering expertise and practical frontend development experience to help design, build, and scale modern web applications and AI-enabled systems. This is a backend-led role, with primary ownership of backend architecture, API design, distributed systems, data workflows, cloud-native development, performance, reliability, and integration of AI capabilities into production applications. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable contributing to frontend development using React and Next.js when needed, while maintaining a strong focus on backend delivery and system design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and data workflows using Node.js and Python.
• Own backend architecture decisions, including service boundaries, API contracts, authentication, authorization, performance, reliability, and observability.
• Build and integrate frontend features using React and Next.js when required, while maintaining a strong focus on backend delivery.
• Develop AI-enabled application features, including integrations with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, tool use, agentic workflows, and orchestration patterns.
• Design and implement secure, maintainable, and well-tested software components across the application stack.
• Improve system performance, scalability, security, deployment automation, monitoring, and developer productivity.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term fixes.
• Stay current with emerging AI engineering practices, agent frameworks, backend technologies, and modern software development tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on experience in backend and frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python for building production-grade backend services, APIs, and integrations.
• Experience building full stack applications using React and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous processing, event-driven systems, queues, background jobs, and service-to-service communication.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Practical experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, such as LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, AI agents, or agentic workflows.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, testing strategies, CI/CD, version control, and secure coding practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
