Job summary

Interview Kickstart is a remote-first company expanding its engineering team to strengthen cloud infrastructure and ML pipelines. The DevSecOps Engineer will partner with developers, product managers, and security teams to design secure, scalable systems and automate CI/CD across our platform.

You will work on AI-first infrastructure, implement security scans, IAM policies, and cost governance while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience across DevOps, MLOps, and security practices.
• Expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Knowledge of ML model lifecycle: training, deployment, monitoring.
• Experience with security automation, vulnerability scanning, and compliance (CIS, SOC2, GDPR).
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash.
• Good debugging and online searching skills.
• Excellent communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure for web apps and ML pipelines.
• Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines.

As an DevSecOps Engineer at Interview Kickstart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems that support our platform and services.

• Implementing DevSecOps practices: integrating security scans, IAM policies, and compliance automation.

• Building monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and performance.

• Optimizing workloads for cost, reliability, and scalability (across API services, web apps, and ML model serving).

• Handling on-call issues across infrastructure, deployments, and ML pipelines.

• Driving best practices in infrastructure security, cost governance, and reliability engineering.

• Mentoring junior DevSecMLOps engineers and collaborating closely with ML, Dev, and Product teams
