Confidential in Thane, India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and deliver high-quality SaaS solutions. You will collaborate with a global team to build scalable features for a strategic program management platform and own features from design through production.

This hands-on senior individual contributor role requires strong Ruby on Rails, React, and SQL skills, plus experience with SaaS/web applications and software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Solid experience with JavaScript, including React.
• Good working knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience building and maintaining SaaS or large-scale web applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, testing, and operational considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own low-level design, implementation, and unit testing of new features.
• Build and maintain frontend functionality using React/JavaScript in line with UX designs.
• Design and implement backend services and models using Ruby on Rails.
• Ensure solutions meet the performance, scalability, and reliability requirements of a SaaS product.
• Maintain and enhance the existing application, including timely resolution of customer-reported issues.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure long‑term code quality and stability.
• Participate in and lead peer code reviews, identifying defects and promoting clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate effectively with Product, UX, QA, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective customer solutions.
• Contribute to estimation, planning, and delivery within an Agile development team.
• Produce technical documentation for designs, processes, and significant changes when required.
• Protect confidential data and ensure information security protocols are followed.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and delivery of high-quality solutions. You will work closely with the Technical Architect, Product Design, QA, and other engineers (including global team members) to build scalable, reliable features for the strategic program management platform, enabling customers to adapt to change and deliver on their commitments.

This is a hands‑on senior individual contributor role with ownership of features from design through production.
