Job summary

Tekskills is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable web applications using Node.js and React. You will work with AWS cloud services, NoSQL databases, and modern CI/CD pipelines. The role prefers candidates who know Terraform/CloudFormation and writing tests with Jest/Playwright/Cypress.

Hybrid work mode with focus on delivering robust cloud-native features. Immediate joiner and notice periods are preferred, Pan India coverage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on with Node.js and React.
• Experience using AWS services (Connect, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Lambda, AppSync, Kinesis, Lex, Polly, Transcribe).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and React.
• Leverage AWS services and NoSQL databases in cloud-enabled solutions.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.

Role & responsibilities

• Node.js and React.
• Experience building applications using services provided by AWS such as Connect, S3, SQS, SNS, API GW, EC2, AWS lambda, AppSync, Kinesis, Lex, Polly, Transcribe.
• Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect or other equivalent is a plus.
• Having knowledge about WebRTC is a plus.
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
• CI/CD tooling such as CloudFormation, BitBucket pipeline
• Unit Testing tools such as Jest/Playwright/Cypress.
• Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaC) such as Terraform
