Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Manual Testing Engineer in Pune with 5-7 years of hands-on QA experience. The role involves understanding requirements, designing and executing test cases, and ensuring software quality before releases.

You will work with developers, analysts, and product owners, performing UI/API tests and contributing to QA processes for better test coverage and product quality.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing.

• Strong knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and system testing.
• Good experience with defect life cycle and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios.
• Create, review, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploration.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Perform UI and API testing as required.
• Validate application workflows across browsers, devices, and environments.
• Participate in requirements review, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature implementations.
• Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual Testing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in software quality assurance. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, creating and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring that applications meet functional and quality standards before release.

• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON is an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team.

Good to Have

• Experience working in web application testing.
• Knowledge of Selenium or any test automation framework.
• Experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
• Experience working in Jira + Confluence environments.
