The team

We are the Engineering team at Liberis, building products and automation that drive our growth in the embedded finance market. Our team of over 90 engineers is based across the UK and Mumbai and works in domain‑aligned squads, supported by DevEx, Data, Architecture, and other functions. We focus on building composable, modular technology platforms to close the global SME funding gap, collaborating closely with users and moving quickly to fix issues.

What you’ll be doing

• Using continuous delivery practices to deliver high‑quality software and value to end users as early as possible
• Working in collaborative, customer‑obsessed teams to build fantastic experiences for internal and external users
• Contributing to our distributed, global architecture while defending our quality and performance requirements
• Building and running software, exemplifying a DevOps culture
• Participating in the entire software lifecycle, from ideation to maintenance and feedback-driven improvement
• Mentoring junior engineers

What we think you need

• Professional experience writing code in two or more programming languages and a willingness to learn our tech stack – mainly C# .NET, Next.js, React, and GCP
• Understanding of Agile methods such as Extreme Programming, Kanban, or Scrum
• Experience mentoring more junior team members
• Multiple years of experience in an environment similar to ours
• Resilience in early‑stage business situations with evolving requirements and experimentation
• Bonus: experience building data‑heavy products such as ETL pipelines, event streamlining, or data mesh approaches
• Bonus: experience with cloud technologies (Azure or GCP), highly collaborative methods (ensemble, mob, or pair programming), financial software development, or Test‑Driven Development
