Job summary

Skyhigh Security is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop web-based applications that secure data in SaaS environments. You will work with AWS services, contribute to end-to-end cloud solutions, and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable software.

The role emphasizes high performance, troubleshooting, and cost optimization in a hybrid work setting, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge security platforms.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in designing and developing cloud/API-based software solutions.
• Proven ability to create clean interfaces and work at appropriate levels of abstraction.
• Solid coding skills in Java with AWS exposure.
• Experience with micro-services architecture for cloud components.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Ability to translate problems into design and implementation.
• Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases; Python knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop web-based applications with cloud-based data security focus.
• Build data-secure solutions for SAAS applications.
• Deploy and debug cloud applications using AWS.
• Collaborate with product managers to analyze requirements and standardize solutions across partners.

About You

• 5-8 years of relevant years of solid experience in designing and development of native Cloud/API-based software solutions, with a deep focus on usability, performance, and integration with downstream web services.
• Objective Oriented skills with a nifty ability to create clean interfaces and operate at the right levels of abstraction.
• Solid coding skills using Java programming language Exposure to design and scaling solutions with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Exposure to Micro-services Architecture for cloud components and its pros and cons.
• Experience of working with distributed systems at scale
• Experience to convert a problem statement to a design and Implementation.
• Participate in weekly code reviews with Engineers.
• Can understand the impact of code changes- both programmable and logical changes.
• Experience working with both NoSQL and SQL DB, Machine Learning knowledge, Python programming is preferred
