Job summary

SimpliSafe is a high-tech home security company delivering safety for every home. We are expanding our engineering presence in India in partnership with Kaamwork.

As a Senior Software Engineer (L5), you will design, implement and maintain front-end and APIs powering our Customer Experience Platform. You will work with Node.js, Typescript and React, in a CI/CD setup, applying Agile/microservices practices while focusing on scalable, secure services and APIs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Proficient in Node.js, Typescript, and React.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain frontend and APIs for the Customer Experience Platform.
• Contribute to Security System Management, Customer Account Management, Camera Diagnostics and Help Center/Knowledge Base.
• Work in a CI/CD environment and collaborate with the team.

In this role

you will be joining the team as a Senior Software Engineer (L5)
Specifically, You'll: Design, implement and maintain the front end and APIs that drive our Customer Experience Platform. Security System Management Customer Account Management Camera Diagnostics Help Center/Knowledge Base. And more!

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of experience with full-stack development
• A strong desire to learn and explore new technologies
• Experience using Node.js, Typescript or similar
• Experience using AWS
• Experience with React, or similar frameworks
• Experience with Github Copilot, Claude or similar AI tools
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement web applications and/or services
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL and database technologies.
• A team player, but also comfortable working independently
• Familiar with agile concepts and microservices architecture
• Love building new things, but realize that maintenance is half the battle
