Job summary

Cimpress India seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join our global team. You will collaborate across time zones to design, develop, and deliver scalable software using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, React.js, and REST APIs.

You’ll apply modern coding practices, write clean tests, and leverage AI-assisted tools. Experience with EF Core, SQL, Git, and agile processes is valued; remote-first culture supports flexible ways of working.

About The Role

We are searching for an energetic, self-motivated Software Engineer with strong Technical, analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills to work in our National Pen.

What We Are Looking For

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will collaborate with multiple teams across the globe and understand the business domain to develop and design software solutions with guidance from senior team members.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core development.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, including components, props, state management, hooks, and component lifecycle concepts.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Good understanding of Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing queries, joins, filters, CRUD operations, and understanding relational database concepts.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.
• Interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, ChatGPT, Claude)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to AI/LLM-based applications, prompt engineering, AI APIs, or intelligent workflow automation.
• Experience with modern React patterns, state management libraries, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Advanced SQL skills, including stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Exposure to eCommerce, Product Information Management (PIM), or fulfillment domains.
