Job summary

Regnology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our international R&D team. You will design and deliver frontend apps for complex reporting workflows using React and Angular, with a focus on scalable, performant UIs and a reusable component library.

You will mentor teammates, drive frontend architecture decisions, and collaborate closely with product, QA, and backend engineers in an agile setup, applying modern AI coding tools and ensuring security upgrades are implemented.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

What you'll do

As Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of our international Research & Development Team and you’ll work within our agile development cycle in the RegTech area, designing and delivering frontend applications for complex reporting workflows.

Your key accountabilities are:

• Lead design and implementation of React and Angular applications for complex reporting workflows (large grids, forms, validation feedback, multi-step processes)
• Set technical direction for frontend work in the team: architecture, patterns, and quality bar
• Work with shared UI components and keep a consistent look and feel across products — developing and maintaining a component library in Storybook
• Drive structure and maintainability (componentization / modular frontend); mentor less experienced engineers through reviews and pairing
• Raise quality through code review, automated tests, and close collaboration with product, QA, and backend engineers in an agile team
• Actively utilize modern AI coding tools (Cursor, custom rules, skills, MCPs and context configurations)
• Plan and execute security upgrades of the frontend stack

Why we should decide on you:

• 5+ years of commercial frontend experience, including substantial work with React, Angular and TypeScript
• Proven ownership of non-trivial frontend features or modules end-to-end — not only implementing tickets, but shaping solutions
• Understanding of design systems / theming
• Solid component-oriented UI architecture
• Experience with data-heavy UIs — ideally enterprise grid libraries (e.g. ag-Grid)
• Comfortable consuming RSocket APIs and working with authenticated SaaS apps
• Experience mentoring or reviewing others’ code in a team setting
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and agile delivery
• English for day-to-day collaboration
• Would be an advantage: Experience in fintech / regtech / reporting or other compliance-heavy domains
• Cypress, Playwright, or React Testing Library
• Basic awareness of Java backends or cloud SaaS (GCP)
• Experience with Figma
