About The Job Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our cloud-based data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SQL, Snowflake, Snowpipe, DBT, and AWS, along with a strong background in data architecture, performance tuning, and scalable data solutions.

• Architect and implement robust data warehouse solutions using Snowflake on AWS
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for large-scale data processing
• Develop and manage real-time data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe
• Build modular and reusable data models and transformations using DBT
• Integrate Snowflake with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, and CloudWatch
• Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and security best practices across Snowflake environments
• Mentor junior developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and enforce data governance and quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing roles
• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Snowflake
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL and query optimization
• Strong experience with Snowpipe configuration and automation
• Advanced knowledge of DBT for data modeling and transformation
• Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture and services
• Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
• Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD, and agile methodologies
