Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking a hands-on Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop and optimize scalable cloud data platforms. You will work with Snowflake, AWS, and DevOps practices to deliver robust data pipelines and models.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, Spark, dbt, Airflow, and IaC, with a focus on cost efficiency, security, and CI/CD automation across on-prem and cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS, SQL and data modelling.
• Proficient in Spark/PySpark, dbt and Apache Airflow.
• DevOps mindset with IAM, CI/CD and IaC implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Snowflake and AWS.
• Build ETL/ELT solutions for ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Develop and optimise Snowflake data models, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
• Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ensure data security, governance, monitoring, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with strong experience in AWS and DevOps to build, optimise, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Snowflake development, data pipeline engineering, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD implementation.

Key Responsibilities
