Job summary

Digiaccel Learning in India seeks a Senior Software Engineer II to design, build, and scale high‑performance web applications using the MERN stack, collaborating with Product, Design, and Business teams from ideation to deployment.

You will own features end‑to‑end, write clean code, participate in architecture discussions, mentor juniors, and help improve performance, security, and reliability in a fast‑growth environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full‑stack MERN development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, NestJS, and Node.js.
• Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• Experience with Git and collaborative software development workflows.
• Exposure to Docker, cloud platforms (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving with scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will design, build, and scale high‑performance web applications, collaborating with Product, Design, and Business teams from ideation to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full‑stack development & product engineering: design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, Nest.js); build reusable, modular components that enhance performance and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements and product specifications into elegant technical solutions, owning features end‑to‑end—from technical design and development to deployment and post‑release monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to engineering best practices and coding standards; participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions that improve scalability and reliability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and help maintain a high engineering quality bar across the team.
• Continuous improvement: optimize application performance, security, and overall system reliability; troubleshoot production issues, debug complex technical problems, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA, and other Engineers to define, prioritize, and deliver product features; support sprint planning, estimation, and quality testing activities.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to fostering a collaborative engineering culture.
