Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions seeks a data engineer to build and optimize data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in Goa, India. The role requires 4–9 years of ETL and database experience with Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.

You will design complex mappings, tune performance, ensure data quality, and document technical solutions. A BE is required and the position is on-site in Goa with growth opportunities in data engineering.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6+ years of ETL and database experience.
• Advanced SQL and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata).
• Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Developer.

Responsibilities

• ETL Development: Design and build Informatica mappings, sessions, and workflows to move data to data warehouses.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize slow-running queries, mappings, and loads with partitioning and indexing.
• Data Quality & Cleansing: Profile, validate, and deduplicate data to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor daily data loads and fix extraction/loading failures.
• Documentation: Write design specs, mapping documents, and runbooks.
