Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Software Developer for product development in Chennai, India. The role focuses on Lean and Agile ways of working within cross-functional teams that emphasize continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing.

You will design, test, and automate high quality products, perform troubleshooting, ensure test coverage, and participate in artefact reviews while documenting progress for stakeholders. Familiarity with cloud-native tools and open-source communities is valued.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures and tools, Kubernetes, Helm and Docker.
• Experience with Golang and Python.
• Good knowledge of software development tools such as Git, Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins.
• Experience in working with agile principles.
• Willingness to adapt to change.
• Experience with Observability stack.
• Experience with cloud/virtualization/infrastructure/IP networks.
• Experience with Linux systems.
• Experience with open-source communities.
• CKAD/CKA is a plus.
