We are looking for Cloud Applications Engineers to join our Bangalore-based team to ensure the development, deployment, reliability, maintainability, and evolution of our cloud-native products. This role blends application development with cloud infrastructure ownership, focused on improving system performance, observability, and feature delivery across our Google Cloud-based stack. You will work hands-on with backend, frontend, and data systems while also applying DevOps best practices to streamline deployment and system operations.

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance features in our applications using Python, Node.js, and React.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native services on Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Functions.
• Improve system reliability and maintainability through automation, refactoring, and monitoring.
• Own and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless and secure deployments.
• Build operational dashboards using Superset and other observability tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance, scale, and uptime.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and apply learnings to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack or backend-focused cloud engineering roles.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud ecosystems.
• Solid command of SQL and experience working with large datasets.
• Comfort with both application development and cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and observability best practices.
• Strong debugging skills and a bias for improving system design over time.
• Experience with Superset or similar BI/dashboarding tools.
• Prior experience building data products or analytics-driven systems.
• Exposure to performance tuning on GCP (especially BigQuery, Cloud SQL).
• Knowledge of security and access control in cloud environments.
