Job summary

AstroFarm by 42Gears is seeking a passionate macOS-focused developer to build enterprise-grade macOS applications and background agents in Bengaluru. You will work across the Apple ecosystem, collaborating with OS-level components and security features.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience and a strong track record debugging interactions between user-space apps and core OS processes. This is a full-time role based in Bengaluru, India.

Qualifications

• Deep proficiency in Swift; Objective‑C experience is a strong plus.
• Strong macOS Core Knowledge: Experience with AppKit, LaunchDaemons, LaunchAgents, and XPC services.
• Familiarity with Apple’s Security frameworks, Authorization Services, or System Extensions.
• A track record of debugging issues that interact with the OS beyond just crashing the app.

You will be working on software that runs deeper than just the UI layer, interacting closely with the operating system to manage and secure devices. Relevant Experience: 3+ years.
