Infinite Convergence Solutions is looking for an experienced Mobile Application Development Engineer to be part of an energized team working on cutting‑edge technology in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The role requires a passion for solving business challenges, collaborating with architects and engineers on a rapidly evolving messaging platform, and learning new technologies, tools and languages. The candidate will be required to travel to the Engineering Center in Chicago for in‑depth product training and collaboration on deliverables as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop product features and advanced applications on the Android platform.
- Address technical issues and collaborate with other developers on the project team.
- Work closely with project leaders and architects to review and provide feedback on requirements.
- Take technical ownership of application modules and features, collaborating with developers, architects, and testers.
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of application development work.
- Contribute to defining and maintaining coding standards.
- Collaborate with QA on creation, review, and delivery of functional automation tests.
Requirements
- 4–8 years of experience in native iOS app development with Objective‑C and Swift.
- Hands‑on knowledge of Xcode and Cocoa frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of iOS SDK, UI/UX development using Storyboards and SwiftUI.
- Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architectures.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back‑end services and client‑server programming.
- Experience with SQLite, Core Data and Realm databases, GCD, multithreading, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of the open‑source iOS ecosystem and libraries (CocoaPods, Carthage, SwiftPM).
- Understanding of Apple’s design principles and Human‑Machine Interface guidelines.
- Proficient with code versioning tools such as SVN and Git.
- Strong knowledge of native or third‑party unit testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
Nice to Have
- Hands‑on web development experience (HTML, CSS, React, Angular).
- Experience with hybrid application technologies such as Flutter and React Native.
- Exposure to back‑end development and cloud platforms (AWS, etc.).
