Job summary

You will collaborate with product, architects, UX, data engineers, and other engineers to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing applications; mentoring peers and contributing to architecture.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with frontend/backend balance.
• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Leasing Engineering team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting business-critical leasing platforms. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across the full technology stack, partnering closely with Product Managers, Architects, UX Designers, Data Engineers, and fellow engineers to deliver innovative digital solutions that support JLL's global leasing business. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in full-stack development, cloud-native technologies, API design, data platforms, integrations, DevOps practices and AI-augmented development as a core expectation along with the ability to drive technical excellence, mentor team members, and contribute to architectural decisions.

• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems design.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows (pull requests, code reviews).
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools.
