Qualifications

• Evaluate adoption of new AI/ML frameworks and tooling to accelerate the AI-native roadmap.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software achieving 100% financial accuracy for vendors.
• Mentor SDE I and SDE II engineers to raise technical standards and grow capabilities.

Selling Partner Financial Technology (SPFT) is looking for a dynamic engineer to join our financial experiences team and help us build the next generation of Native AI Vendor Financial experiences that are intelligent, proactive, and deeply personalized.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior SDE, You Will

• Define the technical approach for broadly defined problems, translating ambiguous product visions into clear, scalable architectures that combine Amazon-scale reliability with AI intelligence.
• Create solutions to run AI-driven predictions and intelligent automation on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
• Design and develop distributed systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage, integrating LLM orchestration, tool-use patterns, and autonomous workflow execution at their core.
• Translate functional requirements into robust, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture, with a focus on human-in-the-loop AI workflows that automate the obvious while keeping humans in control of the consequential.
• Own the full development cycle end-to-end. From system design, implementation, and testing to documentation, delivery, operational excellence, and maintenance.
• Drive engineering best practices across the team including code quality, testing standards, and operational rigor for mission-critical financial systems.
• Evaluate and make decisions around the adoption of new AI/ML frameworks, agentic tooling, and emerging technologies that accelerate our AI-native roadmap.
• Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software that achieves our vision of 100% financial accuracy and transparency for vendors.
• Mentor SDE I and SDE II engineers — raising the technical bar, guiding design decisions, and helping team members grow in their AI engineering capabilities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 6+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 4+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, including architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization of model execution
