Job summary

dSPACE in Trivandrum is seeking a Senior Software Developer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and ongoing support, and own technical aspects within the team.

You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with Product Owners, architects, and stakeholders, and work in an Agile Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• MCA/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of Dynamics AX and D365 F&O experience.
• Strong X++ development skills and D365 F&O extension model.
• Solid knowledge of SQL Server and database design principles.

Responsibilities

• Participate in an Agile Scrum team, including sprint planning, reviews and stand-ups.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure architecture, security and governance standards.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain extensions for Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Implement user stories from a prioritized backlog in Azure DevOps.
• Refactor and optimize existing X++ implementations and ensure code quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the development team.

For our office in Trivandrum, dSPACE is looking for creative and motivated professionals. You will be a key member of the agile team responsible for the continuous development and operation of our companywide D365‑FO solution across the dSPACE Group.

We are offering a position as a Senior Software Developer for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. In this role, you will leverage your strong software development background and hands‑on experience with Dynamics 365-FO to contribute across the entire software development lifecycle—from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, deployment, and ongoing support. Beyond development, you will take technical ownership within the team, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, and other stakeholders.

Your Tasks

• You actively participate in an Agile Scrum team, including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Daily Stand‑ups
• You collaborate with architects to ensure compliance with architecture, security, and governance standards
• You analyze business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
• You design, develop, and maintain customizations and extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• You implement user stories and technical tasks from a prioritized backlog in Azure DevOps
• You refactor and optimize existing X++ implementationsYou ensure high code quality, performance, and maintainability through code reviews and adherence to best practices
• You provide technical guidance and mentoring within the development team

Your Profile

• You hold an MCA, B.Tech, or M.Tech degree in Computer Science
• You have a minimum of 5 years of prior Dynamics AX and D365 F&O experience
• You demonstrate strong technical skills in X++ Development and D365 F&O extension model
• You possess solid working knowledge of LCS, Azure DevOps and Visual Studio
• You have a solid foundation in SQL Server and database design principles
• You are experienced in building SSRS & X++ Reports
• You are well‑versed in Microsoft DevOps and release pipeline concepts
• You are self‑motivated, with the ability to deliver tasks on time and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
