Job summary

Jobtailor in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Software Architect to define and maintain the long-term architecture roadmap for the GridBeats portfolio. You will drive interoperability across embedded software, firmware, middleware, backend systems and analytics platforms.

You will lead the development of shared platforms, libraries and common services, ensuring reliability, scalability, maintainability and cybersecurity. Experience in industrial or safety-critical environments is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven professional software engineering experience with strong track record as an architect.
• Deep knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with multiple languages and frameworks: Java, C++, C#, Python, JavaScript.
• Familiar with IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 61850 data model.

• Ensure interoperability and integration between embedded software, firmware, middleware, backend systems and analytics platforms
• Lead the development of shared platforms, libraries and common services
• Ensure systems are designed for reliability, scalability, maintainability, cybersecurity and testability

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in software engineering, with a strong track record as a software architect
• Deep knowledge of software design principles, patterns and best practices
• Experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, C++, C#, Python and JavaScript
• Thorough knowledge of the IEC 62443 standard and other relevant cybersecurity-related standards
• Familiarity with the IEC 61850 data model
• Experience defining architecture for large-scale, distributed or embedded software systems
• Ability to work in industrial, embedded or safety-critical environments (highly desirable)
