About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Developer to architect, develop, and optimize robust data solutions on the Snowflake Cloud (Azure) Data Platform. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, enhancing query performance, and contributing to the seamless migration of enterprise datasets from legacy databases such as Teradata.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models, data pipelines, and data integration solutions in Snowflake.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and conduct performance tuning at scale.
• Lead and support data migration from Teradata or similar enterprise databases to Snowflake.
• Optimize Snowflake usage for storage, compute efficiency, and overall performance.
• Implement strong data governance, security controls, and compliance practices.
• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and analysts across the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with Snowflake Cloud Data Platform (hands-on, minimum 2 years)
• Strong experience in SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience with Teradata or other enterprise databases (Oracle, DB2, etc.)
• Familiarity with ETL tools (Informatica / Talend or similar)
• Good understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices
• Exposure to Azure cloud, data governance, and security configurations

Preferred / Nice to Have
