Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Experience: 7 to 10 Years
Location: Hyderabad

Work Mode: Work From office, 5 days (Mon-Fri)

Shift: 2:00pm -11:00pm

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with 610 years of experience in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, ETL pipelines, and Data Build Tool, with the ability to work closely with business and technical teams to deliver reliable and high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models using Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics solutions.
• Implement ETL/ELT solutions that involve complex business transformations.
• Write complex SQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
• Develop data engineering applications and automation using Python.
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, files, and cloud platforms.
• Work with Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, Time Travel, Dynamic Tables, and Snowflake Warehouses.
• Perform data modeling, including dimensional modeling, fact/dimension design, and schema optimization.
• Implement CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering solutions.

Required Technical Skills

• Experience 7+ years of data engineering experience with a strong focus on Snowflake architecture.
• SQL: Mastery of advanced SQL for complex data querying, optimization, and analytical processing.
• Python: Proficiency in Python for data pipeline automation, scripting, and building custom ETL/ELT processes.
• DBT: Extensive experience using dbt (Data Build Tool) for data modeling, testing, and documentation.
• Performance: Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, query optimization, and cost management.
