Job summary

AIONOS in India is hiring a .NET-focused software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise billing applications. You will implement billing rules, integrate with Azure services, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes ITSM-based maintenance, CI/CD pipelines, and performance tuning, with a focus on reliability, code quality, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
• Strong understanding of Billing Systems and standard billing processes.
• Experience with ITSM processes, incident and problem management.
• Familiarity with cloud-based integrations and modern application architectures.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

• Design, develop, enhance, and deploy enterprise applications using .NET technologies.
• Implement and maintain billing functionalities aligned with standard billing rules and business processes.
• Participate in requirement analysis, effort estimation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Application Maintenance & Support

• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and maintenance for existing .NET applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and optimize system performance.
• Manage incidents and problem resolution within the ITSM framework.
• Perform database administration tasks, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Ensure application stability, reliability, and compliance with operational standards.

Integration & Performance Optimization

• Integrate applications with Microsoft Azure Integration Services and other enterprise platforms.
• Support and maintain middleware components, including SSIS and SSRS.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and DevOps practices for efficient software delivery.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct unit testing and support integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Identify, debug, and resolve defects to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Maintain coding standards and follow best practices for software development and deployment.
