Job summary

Milestone Technologies is actively seeking a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join on a full‑time basis. The candidate will drive ITSM and asset management best practices on the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, development, and integration.

You will lead requirements workshops, design comprehensive solutions, and deliver documentation and training materials. Strong client-facing skills and hands-on execution are essential, with up to 20% travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in ITSM with asset management experience.
• 5+ years with ServiceNow Platform.
• 5+ years in professional services/consulting.
• ITIL v4 Foundations certification or commitment to attain within 8 weeks.
• ITAM HAM/SAM Pro certifications or commitment to attain within 8 weeks.
• Experience interpreting software licensing terms.
• Experience deploying ITAM/HAM/SAM Pro.
• Experience reconciling software license positions.
• Integration experience (SCCM or similar).
• Participation in at least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum or Waterfall.
• ServiceNow Admin and Certified Implementation Specialist certifications (or commitment within 90 days).
• Advanced UI/workflow/config/reporting/integration knowledge (LDAP, SSO).
• 2+ years of requirement gathering and turning into solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• ServiceNow/Web Development experience.
• ITIL Certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architects to assess current processes, define ServiceNow requirements, and configure ServiceNow.
• Collaborate with clients to design solutions and create implementation plans.
• Lead workshops for requirements, scoping, and design with thorough documentation.
• Deliver hands-on configuration, development, and integration services.
• Produce process guides, training materials, and core project deliverables.
• Support practice build efforts and development of IP.

The company is looking for experienced ServiceNow delivery experts with a strong background in assisting organizations in adopting service management and asset management best practices and optimizing them on the ServiceNow platform. The successful candidate will possess expertise in service management/asset management process design and ServiceNow configuration and development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Milestone Technologies Solutions Architect to assess current state processes and tools, define ServiceNow solution requirements, and configure ServiceNow accordingly
• Work with clients to assess current state processes and tools, define ServiceNow solution requirements, design solutions, and create implementation plans
• Lead and deliver requirements, scoping, and design workshops, ensuring thorough documentation of requirements
• As a senior technical member of the team, deliver hands‑on configuration, development, and integration services
• Produce process guides, training guides, and other core project deliverables as needed
• Lead and support practice build efforts, including the development of practice intellectual property (IP)

Skills

• 10+ years within the ITSM industry, including asset management
• 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow Platform
• 5+ years of professional services/consulting experience
• ITIL v4 Foundations certification or commitment to attaining it within the first 8 weeks of employment
• ITAM Certifications: HAM and SAM Pro – SAM Pro or commitment to attaining these certifications within the first 8 weeks of employment
• Experience interpreting software licensing terms and conditions
• Experience in deploying ITAM, HAM, and SAM Pro
• Experience in reconciling software license positions
• Integration experience, including but not limited to SCCM or other software discovery tools
• Participation in at least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations
• Excellent understanding of implementation methodologies/SDLC (e.g., Agile Scrum, Waterfall)
• ServiceNow Certifications for System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist (or commitment to attain these certifications within 90 days of hire date)
• Advanced level understanding of ServiceNow application UI and workflow configuration, report development, and integration components (e.g., LDAP, SSO, etc.)
• 2+ years of experience soliciting and documenting requirements and evolving them into successful solutions
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in public speaking situations
• Ability to travel up to 20% (post COVID)
• ServiceNow/Web Development experience
• ITIL Certification(s)
