Job summary

Aeries Technology, Inc. in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) to lead automation, cloud operations, and reliability across Microsoft 365 and Azure ecosystems. You will implement zero-trust provisioning, AI-assisted monitoring, and robust incident response.

You’ll design and maintain end-to-end observability, ensure policy compliance, and drive proactive, self-healing operations.5+ years in SRE/Cloud Operations with enterprise Microsoft experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Intune, Entra and PIM and configuration and administration.
• Experience in Copilot and AI tools.
• Experience in Intune policies, Conditional Access policies, and security policy configuration and administration.

Responsibilities

• Automation & AIOps: Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines (PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and integrate AI/ML tools to drive proactive operations.
• Microsoft Cloud & Intune: Architect and manage Intune for zero-trust provisioning, policy compliance, and automated software deployment across multi-platform endpoints.
• Identity & Access Management: Ensure high availability for Entra ID, managing Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and lifecycle automation.
• SharePoint & Collaboration Reliability: Oversee reliability of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and M365 tools with data governance.
• Observability & Incident Management: Establish monitoring frameworks (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana); lead RCA and post-mortems.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Automation & AIOps: Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines (PowerShell, Python, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions) and integrate AI/ML tools (such as Microsoft Copilot for Security, Azure Monitor AI insights) to drive proactive, self-healing operations.
• Microsoft Cloud & Intune: Architect, manage, and optimize Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for zero-trust & zero-touch device provisioning, policy compliance, and automated software deployment across multi-platform endpoints.
• Identity & Access Management (Entra ID): Ensure high availability and robust security posture for Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), managing Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Enterprise Applications, and automated lifecycle management.
• SharePoint & Collaboration Reliability: Oversee the reliability, performance, and monitoring of SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and M365 collaboration tools, ensuring seamless user experience and data governance.
• Observability & Incident Management: Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana) to track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets. Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and post-mortem reviews for operational incidents.

Requirements for the role:

• Experience: 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3+ years specializing in SRE, Cloud Operations, or Systems Engineering within enterprise Microsoft environments.
• Microsoft Ecosystem Mastery: Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and SharePoint Online administration and reliability engineering.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficient in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for infrastructure automation and API integrations (Microsoft Graph API).
• AIOps & Observability: Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven operations, anomaly detection, and modern monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus).
• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid understanding of Azure core services, networking, security baselines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or Bicep).

Skills/Certifications:

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate, or Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Copilot for Security or custom AI models for IT operations and incident triage.
• Strong background in Agile methodologies and Service Reliability Engineering principles (CI/CD, Chaos Engineering, Error Budgeting).
