Job summary

Vivid Digisolution in Vadodara is seeking a Senior SEO Executive who can diagnose and fix critical issues, own the SEO strategy, and guide the team. You’ll drive AEO and GEO initiatives, improve rankings, and deliver client-ready roadmaps.

You’ll lead client conversations, present results, and mentor juniors. This role combines strategy, team leadership, and hands-on SEO across e-commerce, healthcare, and SaaS projects, with a clear path to SEO Head.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior SEO Executive who can spot the problems that others miss — the crawl errors killing rankings, the content gaps that competitors are filling, and the technical issues that make Google ignore entire sections of a site.

This isn't a plug-and-play role. You'll be the one who decides what's wrong with a client's SEO, builds the strategy to fix it, and delegates execution to the junior team. You'll also drive our AEO and GEO efforts — making sure clients show up not just in traditional search, but in AI-generated answers, voice search, and local/geo-targeted results.

Every month, you'll sit with clients, walk them through what changed, what's working, and what's next. This role is part strategist, part team lead, part client-facing expert.

What You'll Do

Critical SEO Problem-Solving

• Identify and fix ranking drops — diagnose algorithm impact, cannibalisation, and penalty risks
• Review and clean up backlink profiles — disavow toxic links, build quality link strategy
• Prioritise fixes by impact — not everything broken is worth fixing first
• Build Answer Engine Optimisation strategy — get clients featured in AI answers and zero-click results
• Implement structured data, FAQ schema, and entity-based content for AEO
• Develop GEO strategy — Google Business Profile, local citations, geo-targeted landing pages
• Track visibility across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google SGE, and voice search
• Stay ahead of AI search trends and adapt strategies proactively
• Plan and assign SEO tasks to junior team members — on-page, off-page, content
• Review junior team's work — check quality of link building, content, and technical fixes
• Build monthly SEO roadmaps for each client with clear priorities and deadlines
• Train and mentor juniors on advanced SEO, AEO, and GEO techniques
• Own the overall SEO strategy — what gets done, in what order, and why
• Prepare monthly SEO performance reports — rankings, traffic, conversions, visibility
• Lead monthly report discussions with clients — present results and next steps clearly
• Set and track KPIs — organic traffic, keyword rankings, domain authority, AEO visibility
• Translate SEO data into business outcomes clients actually understandFlag risks early — algorithm updates, competitor moves, traffic anomalies

Must Have

• 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience — agency or in-house
• Proven ability to diagnose and fix critical SEO issues independently
• Strong technical SEO — crawl analysis, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema
• Experience with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog
• Ability to lead and review junior team members' work
• Clear communication — can explain SEO to clients without jargon

Nice to Have

• Experience with AEO — structured data, entity optimisation, AI search visibility
• GEO expertise — Google Business Profile, local SEO, geo-landing pages
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Shopify, or Odoo website architecture
• Content strategy experience — keyword clustering, content briefs, topical authority
• Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Looker Studio, or Data Studio
• Prior experience managing client relationships and presenting reports
