Job summary

Moneymul Technologies Pvt Ltd in Noida is seeking a hands-on Senior SecDevOps / SRE to manage on-prem Kubernetes across DC/DR and GKE workloads on GCP. Qualifications

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Senior SecDevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to run our container platforms across

on-premises data centers and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role has two core focus areas: managing our on-

prem Kubernetes on the DC and DR sites to keep applications up and running, and setting up and managing our

workloads on GCP. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Jenkins and be comfortable at the command line,

debugging issues, and driving root-cause analysis under pressure.

Primary Focus Areas

• On-Prem Kubernetes (DC & DR): Manage the on-premises Kubernetes running on the DC and DR sites to keep applications highly available. This covers cluster, pod, and namespace management, ArgoCD, Helm charts, debugging, and root-cause analysis (RCA) to maintain uptime.
• GCP Platform: Set up, configure, and manage our workloads and Kubernetes (GKE) on GCP, including provisioning, upgrades, scaling, networking, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Prem K8s Operations: Operate and maintain on-prem Kubernetes clusters (cluster, nodes, pods, namespaces) across DC and DR to ensure application uptime.
• GitOps & Deployments: Manage deployments using ArgoCD (GitOps) and Helm charts; troubleshoot workloads, debug incidents, and perform RCA.
• GCP: Provision and manage services and GKE clusters on GCP - Compute Engine, VPC networking, IAM, Cloud Storage, load balancing - with cost and security in mind.
• CI/CD – Jenkins: Design, build, and maintain Jenkins pipelines (declarative/scripted) for build, test, containerization, and automated deployments across environments.
• Automation & CLI: Manage clusters through command-line tooling (kubectl, helm, gcloud, Linux shell); automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Observability & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, SigNoz, ELK/Cloud Logging); participate in on-call, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices across clusters and pipelines - secrets management, RBAC, image scanning, and patching.
• Documentation & Mentoring: Maintain clear runbooks and architecture diagrams; guide and mentor junior team members.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years of hands-on SecDevOps / DevOps / SRE / infrastructure experience in production environments. Strong Kubernetes administration experience in on-premises environments (kubeadm, bare-metal, or on-prem distributions) as well as on GCP / GKE - clusters, pods, namespaces, upgrades, and scaling.
• Hands-on experience with ArgoCD, Helm charts, workload debugging, and root-cause analysis (RCA).
• Solid working knowledge of GCP core services (GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud Monitoring/Logging).
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
• Strong Linux administration and command-line proficiency; comfortable with kubectl, helm, gcloud, and shell scripting.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and container registries.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, SigNoz) and incident-management practices.
• Fast learner and self-driven - smart enough to pick up new tooling quickly, own tasks end to end, and guide and mentor junior team members.

Good to Have

• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and GitOps (ArgoCD / Flux).
• Scripting/automation in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), Helm chart authoring, and ingress controllers.
• Networking, firewalls, and load balancers in hybrid (on-prem + cloud) setups.
• Certifications (good to have): CKA / CKAD / CKS, Google Associate or Professional Cloud Engineer, RHCSA/RHCE.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
