Detailed Job Description:

As a Senior SDET / Test Automation Engineer supporting Orcapod and its reputed MNC client on an on-site basis in Bangalore, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of backend test automation, API validation, database verification, and failure-path testing. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing scalable test frameworks with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest, writing complex SQL queries to validate SQL Server database state, testing messaging systems and payment processing APIs, executing negative and failure-path test scenarios for authorization and settlement workflows, collaborating with multidisciplinary software engineering squads, and interacting directly with recruitment professionals like Akanksha Sonkar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain robust backend test automation frameworks utilizing C#, .NET, and industry-standard testing libraries.
• Execute rigorous API testing, service validation, and message queue testing for high-volume payment processing and financial transactions.
• Perform comprehensive negative and failure-path testing to validate system resilience under adverse network and database conditions.
• Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server to verify backend database transactions, ledger states, and data integrity.
