Job summary

World Courier in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to drive agile practices and oversee complex pharmaceutical distribution tech programs. You will lead backlog refinement, planning, reviews and retrospectives while coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, product, data, and business units.

The role requires 4+ years as a Scrum Master, with PMP/PMI-ACP or equivalent Agile certifications preferred and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Scrum Master or related field.
• Certified in PMP, PMI-ACP, agile methodologies, or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical distribution technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drives agile practices and fosters trust, transparency, learning, and continuous improvement through conducting healthy Agile ceremonies that include backlog refinement, planning, iteration reviews and retrospectives.
• Develops integrated program plans, milestone schedules, risk registers, and governance routines that maintain delivery visibility and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinates cross-functional dependencies across engineering, product, data, and business teams to resolve blockers and maintain program momentum.
• Delivers program risks and issues by applying structured escalation frameworks and facilitating decision-making with appropriate stakeholder involvement.
• Produces executive-ready program status reporting, delivery dashboards, and decision briefings that communicate progress, risks, and required actions.
• Drives improvements to project management practices, delivery frameworks, and program governance standards to improve execution quality and consistency.
• Guides less experienced project managers on planning methods, risk management, and stakeholder communication practices.
