Job summary

Syngene International Limited is seeking a Senior Scientist – Analytical Development in Bengaluru, India. You will work in the Drug Substance Development and Manufacturing (Analytical Development) division, handling method development, validation, and routine analyses to support drug substance projects.

The role requires 1–6 years of experience, MSc in Chemistry, and strong chromatographic/spectroscopic skills.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemistry or equivalent degree.
• 1–6 years of hands-on experience in analytical development.
• Strong knowledge of chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques; familiarity with ICH, GMP, GLP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples and maintain lab/instrument cleanliness.
• Perform routine sample analysis using HPLC/GC/LCMS and moisture content.
• Develop and validate analytical methods with calibrated instruments.
• Calibrate analytical instruments and ensure GDP-compliant documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement in analytical workflows and collaborate cross-functionally.

Desired Attributes

• Strong expertise in chromatographic (HPLC, UPLC, GC), spectroscopic (NMR, MS, UV, IR), and other analytical techniques.
• Knowledge on ICH, GMP, GLP and global regulatory guidelines.
• Experience supporting drug substance development from early phase to commercial manufacturing.
