Job summary

Syngene International Limited in Bangalore invites an experienced Principal Scientist – Analytical Development to lead method development and analytical operations. You will oversee chromatographic method development, optimize analytical workflows and ensure data integrity in a fast-paced pharmaceutical development environment.

The role requires 10–15 years of hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, LC-MS and related techniques, with a focus on accuracy, reproducibility, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Analytical Development.
• Strong hands-on experience with chromatographic method development and validation.
• Experience in leading a small team of analysts and ensuring lab compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform robust chromatographic method development using HPLC, GC, LC MS & GC MS etc.
• Perform analytical activities using instruments such as HPLC, GC, LCMS, GPC, NMR etc.
• Plan and perform method verification experiments with accuracy, reproducibility, recovery/high purity
• Prioritize the samples such that there is less no. of backlog samples, monitor samples to avoid duplication
• Manage small group of analysts
• Keep tracking the progress of the team memberand Lab needs
• Review LNB and make sure the Lab compliance
• Perform calibration of instruments, preventive maintenance of systems on a regular basis and document the reports.
• Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety.
• Attend training on environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures imparted company
