Job summary

ITC Infotech in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Senior SAP PLM Consultant to lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing and deployment across modules, translating business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

The role requires hands-on PLMSI experience, integration with MM, PP, SD, and QM, and leadership in data migration, testing, and process improvements within an automotive/manufacturing context.

Qualifications

• 912 years of SAP PLM consulting/implementation experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP PLM processes and configuration.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Good understanding of engineering and product development processes.
• Strong knowledge of: BOM Management, Document Management, Engineering Change Management, Material Master integration.
• Experience integrating SAP PLM with other SAP functional modules.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and PLMSI is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP solutions.
• Support end-to-end product lifecycle and engineering processes, including: Engineering Change Management, Document Management, BOM Management, Variant Configuration.
• Hands-on knowledge of PLMSI in SAP S/4HANA for integration of external PLM data.
• Integrate SAP PLM with MM, PP, SD, and QM modules.
• Drive business workshops for requirements gathering, solution validation, and process improvement.
• Support data migration, enhancements, testing, and production issue resolution.
• Ensure solutions follow automotive/manufacturing industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product data quality and process efficiency.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
