Responsibilities

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced SAP PLM Functional Lead to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise across SAP PLM modules and have experience integrating PLM processes with SAP S/4HANA and external enterprise applications. This role requires strong stakeholder management, solution architecture, and functional leadership capabilities to deliver scalable end-to-end product lifecycle solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and implementation of SAP PLM solutions across the product lifecycle.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.
• Drive solution design and process optimization in SAP PLM modules including:
  • Specification Management
  • Recipe Development (RD)
  • Change Management (CM)
  • Document Management System (DMS)
  • Portfolio and Project Management (PPM)
• Lead workshops, fit-gap assessments, and business process harmonization activities.
• Design and oversee integrations between SAP PLM, SAP S/4HANA, and external applications.
• Define integration approaches leveraging APIs, IDocs, middleware platforms, and other SAP integration technologies.
• Collaborate with technical teams, architects, and third-party vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support governance, solution documentation, change management, and user adoption initiatives.
• Alignment with enterprise architecture, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Must Have Skills

• SAP PLM Expertise: Proven experience training or supporting users on core modules, including DMS, BOM management, Product Structure, and Change Management.
• Process Modeling: Familiarity with workflow tools (e.g., Signavio, Visio) to easily translate technical workflows into instructional guides.
• Transformation Track Record: Direct experience working within large-scale ERP implementations or global enterprise digital transformations.
• Technical Translation: Exceptional ability to distill dense system architecture into clear, step-by-step narrative guides for day-to-day users.
