Job summary

ITC Infotech Bengaluru invites an experienced SAP PLM Consultant to drive PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment across automotive projects. You will translate business requirements into functional specifications and support end-to-end product development and lifecycle processes, including document management and BOM governance.

The role requires hands-on SAP PLM experience, PLMSI in SAP S/4HANA integration, and strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

• 9–12 years of SAP PLM consulting experience.
• Hands-on SAP PLM processes and configuration.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP PLM Consultant. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), a solid understanding of business processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

• Lead SAP PLM design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PLM functional specifications.
• Support end‑to‑end product development and lifecycle processes, including:
• Document Management
• BOM Management
• Variant Configuration
• Hands‑on knowledge/experience with the PLMSI component in SAP S/4HANA for integrating external PLM data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve product data management and process efficiency.
• Integrate SAP PLM with related SAP modules such as MM, PP, SD, and QM.
• Support data migration, system enhancements, and production issue resolution.
• Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions.
• Ensure solutions align with automotive industry standards and best practices.
• Prepare functional documentation, training materials, and user support guides.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 9–12 years of experience in SAP PLM consulting, implementation, or support.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP PLM processes and configuration.
• Experience working in the automotive industry or manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of engineering and product development processes.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Material Master Integration
• Experience integrating SAP PLM with other SAP functional modules.
• Knowledge/experience with PLMSI in SAP S/4HANA and external PLM data integration.
