Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP on HANA developer to design, implement, and migrate SAP solutions using RICEFW, OOPS, CDS, AMDP, and OData services. You will work hands‑on with ABAP and ADT to deliver robust backend services and data migrations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in SAP ABAP/HANA, a related degree, and familiarity with SAP Gateway, UX data services, and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP/HANA development role.
• Certification is a plus.
• Strong experience in Core SAP ABAP – RICEF, OOPS.

Job description

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of AS-ABAP on HANA and custom code pushdown techniques.
• Proficient in using the ABAP Development Toolkit (ADT).
• Hands‑on experience with Flexible Workflow, Fragmented Adobe Forms (XML‑based), CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Skilled in Module Pool Programming, Adobe Forms, and Smart Forms.
• Strong ABAP programming skills with proven experience in RICEFW development (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Sound knowledge of User Exits, Customer Exits, BADIs, and the New Enhancement Framework.
• Familiarity with Clean Core principles for sustainable development.
• Experience with SAP Gateway, OData services, and backend Fiori development.
• Real‑time experience in SAP implementation and migration projects.
• Practical knowledge of SAP data migration tools.

Requirements

• College degree in related technology field (Computer, Engineering, Science, etc.) or comparable job experiences.
• Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP ABAP/HANA development role.
• Able to exhibit a progression of increasingly complex job responsibilities during the period.
• Certification is a plus.
• Strong experience in Core SAP ABAP – RICEF, OOPS.
• Strong experience in SAP ABAP on HANA – AMDP, CDS, ODATA Services.
