Job summary

Proso AI Technologies in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Application Developer – SAP ABAP HANA to design, develop, and support SAP applications on the HANA platform. You will leverage ABAP on HANA, CDS, AMDP, and OData to deliver high-performance S/4HANA solutions and Fiori integrations.

You will work with functional teams to translate requirements into technical designs, implement interfaces, enhance reports and forms, and provide production support, testing, and documentation in line with SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAP ABAP or SAP S/4HANA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP applications using ABAP on HANA.
• Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA solutions using modern ABAP programming techniques.
• Create and maintain reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV), interfaces, enhancements, forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAP Scripts), conversions, and workflows.
• Develop CDS views and AMDPs for high-performance processing.
• Develop and consume OData Services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Develop interfaces using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Proxy, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Perform code optimization and SQL performance tuning on SAP HANA databases.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare TDD, FS, and technical documentation; perform unit, SIT, and UAT testing; support data migration and production issues.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer – SAP ABAP HANA to develop, enhance, and support SAP applications on the SAP HANA platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, SAP S/4HANA, Core Data Services (CDS), AMDP, OData Services, Fiori integration, and performance optimization. The role involves designing technical solutions, developing custom applications, integrating SAP systems, and providing production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom SAP applications using ABAP on HANA.
• Develop and enhance SAP S/4HANA solutions using modern ABAP programming techniques.

• Develop interfaces using IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Proxy, SOAP, and REST APIs.
• Perform code optimization and SQL performance tuning on SAP HANA databases.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD), Functional Specifications (FS), and technical documentation.
• Perform Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and defect resolution.
• Support data migration activities using LSMW, Migration Cockpit, and custom migration programs.
• Provide production support, incident resolution, and post-go-live enhancements.
• Follow SAP development standards, transport management, and code review processes.
