Evora Group in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior SAP Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics Practice. You will turn governed data models into stories, dashboards, planning applications and decisions that create real value for clients in asset-intensive industries such as utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, and transport.

You will work across the SAP Analytics Cloud stack, design planning models, build analytic applications, and support pre-sales with demos.

Qualifications

Who We Are Looking For

Evora Group is seeking a Senior SAP Data Analyst to join our growing Analytics Practice. This role sits at the intersection of business advisory and technical delivery - you will turn governed data models into stories, dashboards, planning applications and decisions that create real value for clients in asset-intensive industries including utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, and transport.

You will work across the SAP Analytics Cloud stack: analytical and planning model design, story development, Analytic Applications, and security - building on data models delivered by our SAP Data Engineering team. Beyond delivery, you will support pre-sales with demos and solution scenarios, represent Evora externally in the SAP analytics community, and help shape the standards of a merged SAP and Microsoft analytics practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build SAC analytical and planning models - dimensions, hierarchies, versions, currency conversion - on top of governed data models delivered by the data engineering team.
• Develop execution-level stories, dashboards and visualisations that translate complex data into actionable insight for operational and executive audiences, applying consistent design and clean-modelling standards.
• Build Analytic Applications using JavaScript-based SAC scripting for custom widgets, automation, and embedded analytics tailored to client needs.
• Develop SAC planning content incorporating data actions, advanced formulas, allocations, value driver trees, and multi-actions to support FP&A and operational planning use cases.
• Configure live and import connections to SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP sources, and advise clients on which connection type is appropriate for each use case.
• Facilitate requirements workshops with business stakeholders and translate business questions into model, story and application designs.
• Configure and maintain SAC security and tenant governance: roles, teams, data access controls, and content lifecycle across development and production tenants.
• Troubleshoot and tune model, story and calculation performance; use SQL querying skills to validate figures and debug data flows end to end.
• Specify to the SAP Data Engineering team what the semantic layer must provide, and validate delivered models against business requirements before build.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to present solution scenarios and demos to clients, and to support estimation and scoping of new engagements.
• Represent Evora as a thought leader by conducting client workshops, publishing expert content, contributing to the SAP Community, and speaking at conferences and user group events.
• Deliver user training, enablement and adoption support to ensure solutions are used after go-live.
• Contribute reusable assets, templates, documentation and best practices to the Evora Analytics CoE.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on SAP experience across one or more core modules or platforms.
• Minimum 3+ years of SAP Analytics Cloud delivery experience in a consulting or client-facing environment.
• Hands-on SAC analytical and planning model design: dimensions, hierarchies, versions, and currency conversion.
• Proven ability to design and implement live and import data connections from SAP Datasphere, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP sources.
• Strong proficiency in dimensional modelling concepts and their application within SAC models.
• Working proficiency in SQL for data validation, debugging, and data flow troubleshooting.
• Business literacy in at least one line of business - finance, maintenance, or supply chain - sufficient to challenge a requirement rather than only implement it.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills - able to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and run client workshops independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on delivery of SAC Planning features: data actions, advanced formulas, allocations, valued driver trees, and multi-actions.
• JavaScript-based SAC scripting for Analytic Applications, custom widgets, and automation.
• Experience with performance tuning of SAC models, stories, and complex calculations.
• Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere analytic models as a consumption source, and of SAP Business Data Cloud data products.
• SAC Smart Predict and a working understanding of forecasting and classification concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP and its role in SAC deployment, connectivity and integration architecture.
• Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and DAX, which are applied across the wider group.
• Domain exposure to asset management or field service processes (SAP EAM, PM, or SAP Asset Performance Management).
• SAP certification in a relevant analytics area - for example SAP Certified Associate: Data Analyst, SAP Analytics Cloud, or an SAP Analytics Cloud Planning certification.
